After buying Vince Carter’s 11,700-square-foot restaurant at 2150 LPGA Boulevard for $4.3 million, business partners L. Gale Lemerand and Tim Curtis are converting the space into a unique Stonewood Grill & Tavern location featuring three distinct dining, piano lounge and sports bar sections.
“Timing is very good right now at the intersection of LPGA Boulevard and Interstate 95,” said Lemerand. “With so much development, houses and retail are booming and we can expect more throughout the coming years.”
The new restaurant opens Monday, April 10, and creates approximately 150 local job positions. Management is interviewing for all positions at the new location Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Curious foodies and philanthropists alike can get a sneak preview at Stonewood Grill’s April 8 fundraiser for Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center of Ormond Beach. Tickets for the event are $25 each – with only 500 available – at charity.stonewoodgrill.com. The event will include heavy passed hors d’oeuvres, carving stations, artisan cheese boards, local craft beer and wine sampling. The proceeds from these donations will help purchase the latest equipment for the neonatal intensive care unit of Ormond Beach.
