Since it was first announced early last year that Tanger Outlets was considering a project in Daytona Beach, local residents have been wondering what opportunities for jobs would be available and when the hiring would begin. In recent years Tanger has opened outlet malls in Southhaven, Mississippi, Charleston, South Carolina and Byron Township in West Michigan. At each location Tanger hosted a job fair 2 to 2 1/2 months before the projected opening. This past September, at the Mississippi job fair, 3 to 10-thousand applicants were expected for the 15-hundred jobs that were up for grabs. Jobs include Store Managers and Assistant Managers, Stock Clerks and Sales Associates, full and part-time. With the projected opening of the Tanger Daytona Beach Outlet Mall by Black Friday 2016, watch for notice of a local job fair sometime in late August to late September. CHARLESTON, SC – Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. is pleased to announce that we are hosting a Job Fair at Tanger Outlets Charleston. Visit our center on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 11am to 3pm located inside Shopper Services.
Several brand name and upscale retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Levis, Aeropostale, Banana Republic Factory Store, Under Armour and more will seek to employ fulltime, part-time and seasonal team members.
